ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens)

  • ICL (implantable collamer lens) provides sharper and clearer vision than most other forms of vision correction.
  • The ICL allows excellent results without altering the shape of the cornea.
  • While traditional contact lenses fit on the surface of the eye, ICL are surgically placed within the eye.
  • They are positioned between the iris (which is the colored part of the eye) and the eye’s natural lens.
  • These lenses are intended to permanently correct vision, but they can be replaced if eyes subsequently change.
